Strong Arm Steady - On Point ft. Too Short

I've been listening to Strong Arm Steady's newest album, Arms and Hammers the last few days and I have to say it's a damn good record. It comes highly recommended from MK, go buy it.

Food for Thought

postits

While reading the Press Democrat this morning I came across an article about the Sonoma County Food Forum:
Bringing together more than 300 of Sonoma’s food producers, farmers, agricultural policy makers and local politicos, the inaugural Sonoma County Food Forum, held February 24, 2011, was a day-long gathering to hash out broad-reaching issues facing the local food system. Co-hosted by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, the University of California Cooperative Extension, Sonoma County Department of Health Services and Sonoma County Food System Alliance, it was an unlikely mix of suits and ties rubbing shoulders with muddy workbooks and jeans.
Interesting stuff.. I've never been much of a hippie about my food, but recently I have definitely been paying more attention to the fuel I put in my body. After all, you are what you eat right? The article does a good job breaking down the issues facing Sonoma County's local food system and what the community is doing to address them.

Please take a moment to read the article. What do y'all think?
Do you care where your food is coming from?
Who wants a McDouble?

Time to make babies !! !! !!

My first word was "Swag"

This doesn't necessarily have anything to do with hip-hop.. well, I guess that depends on your choice of mood music. Either way, I felt it was my duty to let you know you need to start getting busy if you want your seed to sprout on 11/11/2011 :
"Break out the candles, romantic music and a bottle of wine, and put away the birth control. For couples hoping for a baby with the century's most memorable birthday, 11/11/11, Friday's the day to conceive. The next date with the same six numbers will be Nov. 11, 2111."
"For those who have their hearts set on a specific birthdate, the odds aren't bad. Those under 35, Hill said, have a 1 in 5 chance. Mama wannabes over 35 have a 10 percent chance."
Now don't say I never put you up on game. Read the full article at AOLnews.com. And please, be selective with your booty calls folkers. And if I don't answer my celly tomorrow, you're too late mate! Im probably slapping this:

What's good folkers? I'm back on my BLOG sheit..

I've been doing some exploring and have a lot of cool ish to share with ya. First off, singer/songwriter McKenzie Eddy. I first heard her throw down on the haunting "Silence" from Curre$y's Pilot Talk 2. Since then I've been noticing her name pop up more and more and every track I've come across is fire. Wait, she's head A&R for Bluroc Records?  She's involved in Curre$y's next album/movie, "Muscle Car Chronicles??"And she has a free album out??? What a Boss. Download McKenzie Eddy's "A Prelude to My Next Excursion" here. Here's some videos to give you a taste of her flavor:
