Green Light Jerky - %30 off Black Friday and More Great Reviews

Head over to Green Light Jerky to get %30 percent for everyone's favorite shopping day (Black Friday). I'm definitely taking advantage of this deal to stock up on my 2012 jerky supply. Just type in black for the coupon code.

Cow Hound has a review of the Klapper's bombs ass jerky on their website.

"The owner, Matthew Klapper, started accidentally selling jerky through a hip hop forum. He couldn’t find jerky he liked, started making some and told his fellow hip-hoppers about it. .

As the site says …

“We were sick of the boring pedestrian flavors that came in every bag of jerky. We were also tired of all the extra stuff we found in those bags of jerky! What started out as a search for some good jerky turned into a passion for making the best beef and turkey jerky available. Sometimes you need to step in and show others how it should be done.”

He had a lot more flavors in the beginning like ginger cilantro, vodka onion and root beer fire. I hope, as GLJ grows, more of the unusual flavors will come back. I’m still hoping for buffalo chicken wing for poultry jerky. There are no preservatives or junk in it

People wanted to try it … a company is born. Reading that thread has been a lot of fun."

Flex Tryin to Backtrack with his 2pac comments?

a

Flex you're still sounding a lil' shaky. You should probably watch your words more wisely when speaking on a deceased legend of music. Not just hip-hop, but music. It's cool if you feel that he brought negative energy, but really none of that really came in full force until All Eyez On Me and Makivelli. I don't know, I guess I just figured a vet in the game would know better.

Just came across this too, an Outlawz diss track goin in on Flex for the whole thing, worldstarhiphop.com comin through today.

Funk Flex Talkin Shi* about Pac?

Well, I guess I have another reason to add to my list of "Why Funk Flex is Ridiculous". The annoying voice is one thing, but this? Wow. I hope no one does anything stupid over this and I hope Flex said, "just kidding" right after because this can be the start of something bad. How can you hate on Pac? What is this 1996? East coast vs west coast? All I know is that Flex has been a hater for a minute now. Dude was threatening to not play Dre or Em a while back.

I guess what it comes down to is East Coast bias. So many haters, so little time. There's enough radio time for us all yo.

The Outlawz - Count My Blessings ft The Jacka

Raekwon - "Ason Jones"

Pretty sure this is a new video. Either way, RIP ODB and J Dilla. Also check this out, one of my favorite ODB television moments. I actually remember watching this live on TV when it happened, those were the days. You gotta love how you have people laughin at ODB when he's making a legit point. Too much truth for the MTV audience, I guess.

Dr.Dre - Kush feat. Snoop Dogg & Akon

Definitely feeling this more than Under Pressure. Detox supposedly comes out next year (lol?). I also fux wit this track here.

Moe Green - XXL Interview

It's always nice to see the local talent get some recognition. Moe Green, reppin' Vallejo.

Kanye V. George Dubya and Matt Lauer

Does anyone else find it amusing that Matt Lauer is interviewing Kanye like he's a head of state or some ish? Considering that many people were saying much worse things about W during his presidency, the fact that Bush actually gave a poop about what Kanye said is pretty hilarious.

Let's also remember that we had (and still have) 2 wars going on where thousands of people are getting killed and George W is worried about what Kanye says? Arg matey, the more I think about it the more it gets annoying. Props to Kanye for callin' out their bullshit.

Producer CEO: DJ Premier - The Nas Album, A Jay-Z Collab, New Talent

A Premiere/Nas album would probably be pretty dope, Nas is Like is easily one of my top 10 Nas tracks. KRS and Primo got an album droppin' pretty soon. Check out this track featuring Grand Puba.

Kanye V. George Dubya

I'm trying to figure out which clip is more amusing, this one, or the Kanye clip. Still leaning towards the original clip, mainly due to Mike Meyers and Chris Tucker's reactions. What do you think?

EYEZON- I'll Be Your Friend

Local homies doin' it. Some real ish

Bun B Feat Slim Thug & Play N Skillz - Ridin Slow

One of the illest tracks off of Bun B's Trill O.G., pick that shit up, one of the best hip hop albums of 2010.

Ghostface - Together Baby & RZA Busts a Freestyle

I believe this is the first single off of Ghostface's upcoming album, The Apollo Kids (drops 12/14/10). Feelin' this track, it has a little bit of that Supreme Clientele feeling. Check it out.

Also came across this RZA freestyle. Throw up your W's

Suge Knight's Lawsuit Against Kanye - Thrown Out

Just saw this one on Yahoo News. I don't know if anyone remembers, but, once upon a time in 2005, former Death Row Records bossman, Suge Knight, got shot at a party that Kanye was hosting. Fast forward to now, Suge is trying to sue Ye for a cool $1 million and the court is not feeling it.

"Knight was seeking more than $1 million in damages from West. Knight was shot in the leg at a 2005 Miami Beach party hosted by West. Knight blames West for lax security.

The shooter has never been identified.

In Thursday's order, the judge concluded there's no evidence that a shooting at the party was foreseeable. The case was set for trial next month."

Yahoo News

This could get pretty interesting. I wonder how many times Suge will try to appeal. Maybe we'll end up seeing Kanye and Suge at the Supreme Court...how classic would that be?

Rent is Too Damn High: The Music Video?

I don't know what to say.

E-40 - Lovin' The Giants and Brian Wilson on Leno

Was checkin' out Vibe.com and ran across this little article. E-40 had this to say:

"I love the hell out of baseball. When I get a chance to watch TV, that's what I watch. I actually like the Giants and the [Oakland] A's because they're both Bay Area teams, but I've followed the Giants a little more closely.

This year was pretty special because, to be honest with you, I didn't know the Giants were as good as they turned out to be this season. I knew they had potential and I know they turned their whole organization over with a fresh new team a couple years ago. But this was—I'm not going to say it was a shocker—but it definitely had everybody out here like, 'Wow.' You know? They walked through the World Series like it was nothing."

What a player, check out the rest of the article here.

On a side note, Brian Wilson was on Leno last night. A lot of stuff recycled from the Rome interview, but entertaining none the less.

Beef - Hammer Goes At Jay

Alright, now I think I can say that no one saw this beef coming. Hammer was apparently not feelin' the jab that Jay threw his way on that new Kanye track "So Appalled" I just came across this at Fiddy's site:

"King Hammer dropped a video titled "Better Run Run" this morning November 1. In it Hov, whom Hammer has given the nickname "hellboy", is seen running from satan, as Hammer raps about him selling his soul.

He suggests Beyonce, fame and wealth were a part of the package, and Jay-Z's signature diamond Roc sign is a salute to the devil.

At the video's end Hammer, now a Christian preacher baptizes Jigga, saving him from a fiery fate."

Gotta say, this track is pretty ill, I didn't expect Hammer to be droppin' a track, let alone a video too. Rep the bay Hammer.
