I don't know if y'all remember the hacker/activist group that calls themselves Anonymous, but about a couple years or so ago they launched a campaign against Scientology silencing and threatening people. They got a pretty good amount of publicity even though I don't know if they accomplished anything other than getting on the news. Having said that, I gotta give them props for sticking it to the MPAA and the RIAA. Why? Because they (RIAA/MPAA) suck ass! Trying to run modern day industries like its 1950 doesn't work. Beer Lobby Gives $10K to No On Prop 19 (Weed Legalization)

Ok, I think many of us know that most of the tobacco companies give money to CAMP (Campaign Against Marijuana Planting), but now the beer industry is joining the fight against the chronic. I can maybe see that they would be concerned that legalized pot would slightly affect their beer sales, but the reason they give is hilarious. Check it out.

"Rhonda Stevenson, director of public affairs for the California Beer & Beverage Distributors, said the group's opposition comes from concerns about public and worker safety. She relied on talking points from the California Chamber of Commerce stating that if Prop. 19 passes, employers would have no ability to monitor or regulate pot consumption of employees, thereby creating the danger of stoned truck drivers and sales people on the roads, and stoned forklift drivers in the warehouses. "

RZA and Russell Crowe - Teaming Up?

I remember watching an interview with the RZA a couple years ago about how him and Russell Crowe hit it off really well and Crowe gave him a George Harrison guitar that Dhani Harrison played on Wu Tangs 8 Diagrams. Didn't really expect this though -

Watching Letterman or Leno interview musical guests is usually hilarious only because how awkward it usually gets. Last time he was on he was rockin' with the Roots most of the show. Pretty dope.
